Roger has been a keen boater for over 40 years, initially sailing on Llyn Tegid, North Wales before moving to Hampshire to study. He has worked in the marine industry since 1995, primarily in technical sales roles for major equipment manufacturers. During this time he’s been involved in developing, specifying and supplying equipment for many of the world’s major OEMs as well as many custom one off power and sailboat projects. 



During his spare time Roger is a very active volunteer at Warsash Sailing Club on the River Hamble where he races his Finn and RS400 dinghies. After many years of involvement with the club’s youth sailing programme he’s now taken over as the club’s Commodore. Alongside this he is Chair of the UK Nacra 15 Class Association which enables him to enjoy quality time with his daughters at events across the UK and Europe.

His other main interest is getting away for the weekend in his Fiat Ducato campervan “theMagicBus2” with his family. 2025’s provisional plans include trips to France, Italy, Belgium and Pwllheli.

Roger’s role at Landau is to ensure that the sales team bring in enough work to keep our fantastic team of Marine Engineers busy, but not too busy!
