Roger has been a keen boater for over 35 years and has worked in the marine industry since 1995, primarily in technical sales roles for major equipment manufacturers. During this time he’s been involved in developing, specifying and supplying equipment for many of the world’s major OEMs as well as many custom one off power and sailboat projects. 

During his spare time Roger is a very active volunteer at Warsash Sailing Club on the River Hamble where he races his Finn dinghy. After 4 years of running the club’s youth sailing programme for circa 200 young sailors per year he’s now taken over as the club’s Rear Commodore Sailing. Alongside this he is the Southern Area Rep for the Topper Class Association in the UK which enables him to enjoy quality time with his daughters who are both avid Topper racers.

His other main interest is getting away for the weekend in his Ducato campervan “theMagicBus2” with his family. In 2022 they enjoyed a fantastic camping trip to Lake Garda for the Topper Worlds combined with a week of touring around France and 2023’s provisional plans include Pwllheli and another French adventure.

Roger’s role at Landau is to ensure that the sales team bring in enough work to keep our fantastic team of Marine Engineers busy, but not too busy!
