Prior to joining Landau Marine, Karl completed a 26 year career as a Marine Engineer in the Army. Progressing through the ranks to leave as the Marine Engineer Head of Trade, Karl was responsible for the management of Army Maritime vessels and the career management of the Marine Engineer trade group. 

During his Army career, Karl served around the world on Army Maritime landing craft and support vessels before moving into roles which involved the design and procurement of new equipment, the management of vessel through life support and the analysis, design, and implementation of training. 

In his spare time Karl enjoys being outdoors with his family and friends, walking, cycling or kayaking. His other leisure pursuits include socialising, cooking, travel and live music. His teenage son is a talented guitarist so Karl lives his dream of being a rock star through him and looks forward to supporting him on his first world tour!

Karl’s role at Landau is to help ensure the smooth running of operations whilst striving for excellence across all departments.
